David & Kathleen Murphy Seeks $16,000 in Crowdfunding via RocketHub to Expand Selfie Subs in Tampa with Food Everyone Can Enjoy - Including the Homeless

Subs and Sandwiches Are Served Up To Everyone Who is Hungry. Once a month a day will be set aside to feed the homeless.

Tampa, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/08/2014 -- Everyone at Selfie Subs cooks from their hearts and cares deeply about the customers they serve. Whoever coined the old phrase “there’s no such as a free lunch” clearly never ate at Selfie Subs. They frequently help people who don’t have any money but are plenty hungry by giving them one of their delicious sandwiches – on the house.

They plan on continuing to help the hungry in the larger location they are hoping to acquire. While they will be able to sell more sandwiches than ever and earn higher profits, they also plan to feed more hungry people by opening up at least once a month for them to come and eat on the house which is why they turned to crowdfunding as they seek help from the public at large.

According to David & Kathleen Murphy, “We hate to see people suffering from hunger and we need your support. Selfie Subs is a local sub shop working out of a very small area inside of a gas station offering made-to-order steak subs, Cuban sandwiches, hot and cold subs & plan on expanding our menu to include chicken wings. Our customers voted us the #1 Cuban sandwich in Tampa. Since opening our take-out sub shop in February of 2014, we've been blessed with an incredibly supportive community. After hearing so many of our loyal customers ask us when we are opening up a bigger location, we're now finally ready.”

To complete their expansion, they identified a larger location and need roughly $10,000 in funds to move in - accounting for the rent and deposit. Wile the equipment they already have as serviced them well, Murphy and her team are in need of a few more things to complete their expansion included a second-hand commercial range, a sandwich prep station, a used commercial-grade refrigerator and freezer, commercial cookware, hoodless fryer and other necessities.
