Denver Recreational Marine Announces New Improvements and More with Ranger Bass Boats

Denver Recreational Marine specializes in Ranger Boats, Sea Ark aluminum fishing boats and Cypress Cay and Grumman pleasure boats. They also have a wide selection of used boats, and full service boat and marine engine repair facilities available.

Denver, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/15/2014 -- Denver Recreational Marine has been one of the leading North Carolina Ranger Bass Boat dealers since 1998, when they chose Ranger Boats over a number of other competitors. According to owner Danny McCall: “The choice to bring Ranger on board came after a lot of thought, but in the end it really was the obvious choice. Their build quality has always been excellent, and they have pioneered many of the features that other boat companies use. That continual improvement in their design and features is why we are still dedicated to Ranger boats, and why they are our premier boat line.”

Some of the newer features that can be found throughout the Ranger lineup of bass boats, center console boats, and dual purpose are the new Pultruded Fiberglass hull formulation, the elimination of all wood products in the decks and hulls of their boats and more. Of course, they have long been known for other features which have made Ranger Boats the gold standard in safety, ride and durability.

Foam Filled Hulls

While some foam filling of hulls is mandated by modern manufacturing standards, Danny McCall of Denver Recreational Marine points out that: “Ranger boats go far beyond the legal mandate for putting foam in the hull. They literally fill nearly every void space in the hull, which gives a wide range of benefits to Ranger owners.” The benefits of what Ranger calls Upright, Level Flotation include:

- Making the vessel virtually unsinkable
- Improving the ride by reducing noise and giving the boat a one piece, interlocking feel
- Insulating critical areas from stresses and high temperatures, such as the livewell and built in coolers
- Supplying additional flotation to the stern of the boats, which have seen an increase in weight expectations from larger battery capacity, powered anchor systems and larger horsepower motors.

Pultruded Fiberglass

Pultruded Fiberglass is similar to extruded aluminum, where the aluminum is extruded through a die. In the same way, the wet fiberglass is pulled through a die; this increases durability and strength and gives the fiberglass an increase in strength and durability without increasing the brittleness of the product. Pound for pound, the Ranger Pultruded Fiberglass is stronger than steel, and Ranger developed and patented this innovative way of making a fiberglass composite that is second to none.

The Pultruded Fiberglass was designed and manufactured to give the transom increased strength, but Ranger uses Pultruded Fiberglass throughout the hull structure at key points, in bow to aft runners and to reinforce the deck in crucial areas. These include extra weight bearing areas, or sections of the hull where extra gear will be attached to the boat, such as the trolling motor base.

Marine Grade Upholstery and Seating

“This is one area where Ranger Boats really has set the standard,” says Denver Recreational Marine owner Danny McCall. “All of the upholstery and materials used in the construction of the seats is marine grade, and absolutely no wood is used in any of the seats. This means a lot over the years, as cheaply made upholstery and seating systems are one of the first things that need to be replaced. This gives our customers peace of mind for the longevity of the boat, and with the other features Ranger offers, it ensures the highest possible resale value when you do decide to trade your boat in or sell it.

“This continued commitment to excellence, and the development of new technologies to solve the problems Ranger has identified over the years is the reason we have and will continue to offer our customers Ranger Boats as our premier line of boats; they build the very best in bass and multi-purpose boats, and that is what we want to sell.”
