Denver Recreational Marine Expands Stock for the 2014 Summer Season

Denver Recreational Marine specializes in Ranger Boats, Sea Ark aluminum fishing boats and Cypress Cay and Grumman pleasure boats. They also have a wide selection of used boats, and full service boat and marine engine repair facilities available.

Denver, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/07/2014 -- Denver Recreational Marine has been in business since 1986, and has long been known for carrying quality used and new boats, but owner Danny McCall says their line-up of new craft is the best it has ever been. “We’ve been a Ranger dealer since 1998, but the addition of Sea Ark, Grumman and Cypress Cay Pontoon boats has allowed us to offer a greater choice to people who want to spend more time on the water.”

This has allowed Denver Recreational Marine to meet the needs of many different potential boaters, from families looking for an economical and safe way to enjoy Lake Norman and other area lakes as well as anglers and hunters looking for water craft that range from Sea Ark’s shallow water aluminum boats to Ranger and Sea Ark boats that are designed for larger bodies of water.

Ranger Boats – The Original Bass Boat

According to Danny McCall, the choice to bring the Ranger line to Denver Recreational Marine was an easy one: “Ranger Boats are the standard that bass boats live or die by - when we started looking at which bass boat we would carry as our signature line, the choice was an easy one. Ranger has the models and the quality that our customers need, both for inshore and offshore boats, and they have made constant improvements in hull design and durability.”

Ranger was started in 1969 by Forrest L Wood, who began with 6 boat designs, and it has remained one of the premier boats since then, gradually expanding its lineup to 3 dozen models in 9 different lines.

Sea Ark Aluminum Fishing Boats

Sea Ark Boats have an even longer history than Ranger boats – the company was originally founded by Zach McClendon Sr., his son Zach McClendon Jr. and Norris Judkins as the MonArk Boat Company in 1958. In 1988, the pleasure boat division and the MonArk name was sold to the Brunswick Corporation. The McClendon family retained the workboat division, and renamed it SeaArk Marine. They began building fishing and pleasure boats again in the early 1990’s.

Sea Ark is still guided by the McClendon family, and is now led by Robin McClendon, Zach Jr.’s daughter. They have built a reputation for over-building the toughest aluminum boats on the market to suit a variety of needs. The Sea Ark boats are welded aluminum and have features such as extruded keels and cap rails as well as heavy duty ribs.

Grumman and Cypress Cay Pontoon Boats

Pontoon Boats are the ultimate family boat for many situations according to Danny McCall: “Cypress Cay and Grumman both offer excellent amenities and some of the best construction on the market, and with pontoon boats, good construction means safety on the water and long years of worry free use.” The modern pontoon boat can offer incredible versatility, from simple pleasure cruising to fishing; properly outfitted, these boats can also easily fill the duty for water skiing and other aquatic sports that require speed and maneuverability.

“Denver Recreational Marine is dedicated to bringing our customers the best boats on the market, and supplying the best sales and service once those boats are on the customers’ trailer. Boats and boating are not just a living for us here at Denver Recreational Marine, they are a way of life,” says McCall.
