Donation Website Created to Help Victims of Edgewood Maryland Shooting Incident

Edgewood, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/24/2017 -- The Harford County, Maryland community is rallying around the victims and families of those killed and injured in the Edgewood, Maryland, shooting incident on October 18, 2017. J.D. Russell of HPS Management, and Lauren Arikan, a friend of the business owners, jointly announce a donation website to help those families affected by the Advance Granite Solutions shooting tragedy this week.

The website is www.EdgewoodDonations.com where visitors can contribute to a GoFundMe page set up today for the victims and their families. All funds will go through the Victoria Russell Foundation, a local non-profit which helps support victims of crime.

The Victoria Russell Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established by J.D. Russell in 2015 to help foster a strong relationship between the community and law enforcement. In addition to education of the public and awarding scholarships to children of law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel, part of its mission is to assist victims of crimes and their family in times of need immediately following a crime.

Donations can also be made by calling 410-881-4646, and a volunteer will return your call. Any non-monetary donations may be dropped off at HPS Management, formerly Harford Property Services, at 424 North Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, Maryland.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy in Edgewood, MD and Wilmington, DE" said Russell. "We worked with Advanced Granite since 2011. The owner and staff were always friendly and great to work with. All proceeds from this GoFundMe drive will be equally divided and distributed as quickly as possible to the families and victims of this violent incident."
