Fischer, Alise Cortez has built a loyal listenership and continues to educate and inspire listeners worldwide.

Dr. Kathleen Kuehnast is the Senior Gender Advisor at the U.S. Institute of Peace, a thematic program that she has led since 2009. Overall, her work has been focused on the U.N. Resolution 1325 and the critical role women should play in all aspects of peacebuilding. She has been a part of the vanguard of introducing the concept of Men, Peace and Security as an integrative approach toward engaging men in championing women's rights. Working on Purpose is broadcast live every Wednesday at 3 pm Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.

"Upon first hearing Dr. Kuehnast speak at a luncheon in Dallas addressing the role of the every day peacemaker, I was struck by the extremely impressive and exciting career she has built working with men and women all over the world to empower conflict resolution and peacebuilding. It occurred to me that each and every one of us need to hear her message and embolden ourselves to lend a hand in her peacekeeping initiatives," says Alise Cortez, the host of the Working on Purpose radio show.
