Dr. Zenn served as faculty at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC from 1996-2000. He was recruited to Duke University/Duke Medical Center in 2000 where he held several positions, most recently Tenured Professor and Vice Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery. He was director of Duke's Plastic Surgery Residency Program for more than a decade and has trained plastic surgery residents and fellows for over 20 years. Additionally, Dr. Zenn is a board examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a sought-after speaker and well-respected instructor to plastic surgeons around the world.

Dr. Zenn received his medical degree from Cornell University. His surgical training includes a general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, a plastic surgery residency at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and a prestigious fellowship in breast and facial surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Dr. Zenn recently earned an MBA at the Duke Fuqua School of Business. He is Chief Medical Officer of Novodaq Corporation (NVDQ: NASDAQ) where he oversees the marketing and development of technology for intraoperative imaging of blood flow during surgery.
