Kinsey Schofield

E! Channel/HLN Commentator Vies for Spot on ABC's the VIEW - Meets McCain

After thousands tweet @TheViewTV on behalf of Kinsey Schofield, Schofield Meets with Senator John McCain: Asking him to have daughter concede & more.

Scottsdale, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/22/2014 -- NakedDC.com endorses Kinsey Schofield for an empty View seat stating, “Young. Single. Fun. The perfect candidate to break conservative stereotypes. It would blow some minds to think that there are unhideous twentysomething women who champion personal responsibility...”

It's official! Rosie O'Donnell is returning to The View. Whoopi Goldberg is reportedly taking over Barbara Walters' position as the moderator of the table. The O'Donnell announcement was fresh off the heels of Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd getting the boot. With 2 seats remaining, the tabloid-blogosphere is already a flutter with potential new hires. According to TMZ, Producers are looking for a Latina and a Conservative (to recreate the Elisabeth Hasselbeck effect.) From Margaret Hoover to Meghan McCain, several names have been listed as possible replacements, but it's a Los Angeles TV Personality that has worked her way on to the Producers radar with an aggressive Twitter campaign.

Kinsey Schofield began a social media campaign utilizing Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to encourage friends and followers to reach out to The View. The support has been overwhelming. With thousands of tweets/RTs, she has not only attracted attention from nationally recognized talent agencies but producers have approached her about developing a show to challenge The View.

With Kinsey and Meghan McCain competing for the Conservative seat at the iconic table, Kinsey took advantage of a chance meeting with Senator John McCain in the hallways of The Clear Channel building. After politely requesting that Senator McCain ask Meghan to concede in her quest for a seat on The View, The Senator charmingly explained that his daughter rarely listened to his advice. The budding campaign will continue until The View makes an official announcement regarding new hires. Until then, tweet @TheViewTV and tell them @KinseySchofield needs a job!
