Eagle House Group in Mitcham Provides Solace to Children with Autism

Sutton, London -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/02/2017 -- The Eagle House Group, founded in 2004, is one of the leading autistic schools in Surrey, providing training for 4 to 11 year old children with autism at Eagle House School in Mitcham. A dedicated team of psychological specialists work together to aid learning for children within the autism spectrum, Asperger syndrome and associated social and communication difficulties.

Finding the right place to best understand the special needs of your autistic child can be a major cause of concern for parents. The Eagle House Group takes pride in addressing these worries with an informal and friendly approach. Combining learning and fun, coupled with motivational teaching enables a sense of achievement whilst helping children value their potential. Eagle House Group strives to work with learners with autism and Asperger syndrome through specialist teaching with uniquely tailored methodology to develop the children's holistic as well as their education needs.

They seek to identify the individual needs of every learner and to meet them unfailingly, and they complete a six-week baseline assessment to help them assess the impact of autism on a student's learning and life as a whole. This allows them to tailor their approach for each child. Apart from the Primary School in Mitcham, they also run a Secondary School in Sutton curing autistic children from 11-19 years old.

One of the staff members of the Eagle House Group shared more about their services, "Communication is an essential life skill and one every learner that comes to us has difficulty with. As such, our speech and language therapists work closely with each teaching team to support learners by embedding a 'total communication approach' into every classroom. This involves creating a visual environment, which enables learners to access every lesson throughout the whole school day. Learners can access speech and language therapy either through class groups (maximum of 6), small groups or individual therapy, both in and out of the classroom."
