Medford, OR -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/14/2014 -- Wouldn’t you love to be more productive so you could leave work an hour early every day? Or would you choose to work the same amount of hours and dramatically increase your profit?
Professional organizer and certified time coach Jenny Morin presents “Making Time Work” at noon Wednesday, March 19 at the Soroptomist International North Valley group.
Her presentation will focus on managing to-do lists and handling interruptions. In the managing to-do list segment, she will share tips about prioritizing tasks and how to get real about what truly can be accomplished in a day.
Morin said, “These techniques I share have led to a profound sense of relief for those I coach and teach through my workshops. I ask questions that get them to take a hard look at their time choices. When they do this, they take control of their schedules. Each person who applies what I teach to their life will have a more realistic schedule that allows them room for their personal goals and family life.”
In the handling interruptions segment, the time coach will give a detailed list of tips for handling internal and external interruptions.
“Most of us are our own worst enemy when it comes to interruptions. If we let ourselves get distracted when trying to focus, we sabotage our own productivity, and I address that. On the other hand, if the issue is outside interruptions, I share several effective strategies that make a huge difference.”
