Elliot Rodgers Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for ONE LIFE Studio

Isla Vista, San Bernadino, Orlando, Dallas and now the Baton Rouge Shooting Motivates an Overture of Passion, Creativity, and Unity.

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/22/2016 -- Even with new shootings on the news too frequently and getting seemingly endless press coverage, it's difficult to process the reality of what this young man experienced just over two years ago in Isla Vista best known for the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The murder spree started when 22-year-old Elliot Rodger stabbed three men to death in his apartment. Not stopping there, he drove to a sorority house and shot three girls on their doorstep, killing two of them. Next, he drove to an eatery close by and shot to death a male student who was inside. Obviously crazed, he went on to race across Isla Vista, shooting and wounding several innocent people while ramming pedestrians with his speed car. The madness didn't stop with a police shootout but only when he hit a parked car. Rather than facing capture, he shot himself in the head before the police were on scene.

This really hit home for Elliot Rodgers which, by a twist of fate, shares nearly the identical name of this berserk killer.

What really hit too close to home is that the killer known as Elliot Rodger was born in the same city as Elliot Rodgers; London, England. The similarities don't end there; the late Elliot Rodger also moved to Southern California at a young age just as Mr. Rodgers did and in a coincidence almost impossible to believe, these two men from the same city and roughly the same age with nearly identical names ended up attending the same place for school.

Elliot Rodgers claims to identify with something else he had in common with the deceased Mister Rodger; a perceived sense of loneliness.

"One of the crucial differences between us is that he grew away from the world, stopped taking his anti-psychotic meds, secretly grew bitter and misogynistic, and schemed for five years to kill and torture people for 'revenge' against the people he saw as rejecting him. And I wanted to be an inspiration to family, to friends, and to my UCSB community, preparing for more than 10 years to be an authentic, positive force in the world using creative and artistic work, and my degree in psychology, to the very best of my abilities," Elliot Rodgers states.

This inspired Elliot to dream beyond the nightmare he shared with his UCSB community to open a studio to cultivate young talent allowing them to focus on creativity and joy instead of pain and tragedy. That dream project will be called ONE LIFE Studio. Tapping into his late grandfather's legacy and his "goodbye money" (which is running very low very quickly), Mr. Rodgers seems to paying a homage to Leslie Leopold Rodgers' legacy and greatness while paving the way for future artists to realize their own level of greatness.

One Life Studio will give undiscovered home-based artists the chance to be heard, seen and recognized for their talent which is too often overlooked in a business where record labels too often seek to grind out big money on commercial artists.

In operating from its own home-based space with its own special spirit, cause and purpose, this One Life Studio project will be seeking to master the art of inspiration. The project will be seeking to motivate others to live their lives passionately, creatively, and positively. Elliot has been realizing some of the exciting ideas, such as binaural 3D sound-design, for around 10 years. And other ideas have been motivated by his experience of the displays of unity after the Isla Vista shooting.

Perhaps the best example of that is One Life Studio WEB, which is a planned-app that'll record individual singing voices and transform them into unified song and music (in clean, amazing 3D sound.)

"I just want the chance to show you that this is what I'm meant to do with my life – inspire. You deserve the best and I have much to give you. If you show your belief in my 'something-positive', I'm fully ready to dive into a passionate life and share it with you," Elliot Rodgers affirms.

In a stunning, immersive, and emotional video on his GoFundMe campaign page, you'll find out how Elliot was able to score a "Miracle Deal" on hardware equipment and software from all of his favorite creative companies. Each creative company has given him their full blessing and encouragement. So with your help, Elliot will be able to claim the "Miracle Deal" they made for him, and equip himself with appliances of creative magic in his march toward inspiring many.

Backers of this GoFundMe campaign will receive very generous and exciting perks that will touch your imagination and undoubtedly entertain, engage and ignite people through the quality and variety of the creations, and even more so, through the once-in-a-life experiences on offer.
