Elmwood Park Zoo Announces Opening of Treetop Adventure Park

 

Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/11/2014 -- During the summer, as the kids are on vacation from school, there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied throughout the day. When looking for something unique, a zoo provides an abundance of activities that are exciting for kids to get involved. This July, Elmwood Park Zoo is proud to announce the grand opening of their Treetop Adventure Park, which features over 60 zip lines and tree games above the exhibits.

With every trip to Treetop Adventure Park, those who purchase an admission ticket will receive admission to the zoo, as well. The park is open to the public every day of the week from 9am-5pm, and the last ticket sales are made each day at 4:30pm. When looking for things to do in Bucks County, PA, there are varying course levels for the novice zip liners to the experienced. The park provides fun for groups and tours of all ages. Whether a camp field trip, or a team building exercise for the office, there are a number of ropes courses that include tightropes and Tarzan ropes, as well as jungle bridges and Mohawk walks.

Members of the zoo are treated to 10 percent off their admission to Treetop Adventure Park. With the junior palooza and over 60 obstacles in the trees, parents no longer have to search for things to do with kids in Bucks County, PA. Cross an item off the bucket list by ziplining over the zoo for a literal bird’s eye view of the exhibits, spanning up to 40 feet above the ground.
