Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/13/2019 -- Elmwood Park Zoo, one of Pennsylvania's finest zoos, is proud to present their annual Read Across America Event, which is taking place March 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event is perfect for children of all ages, and it's free to attend with admission. Guests will be able to enjoy animal greets, live readings, a book fair, and more.
Guests of this Pennsylvania zoo are also encouraged to participate in their book drive. They're collecting gently-used books now through March 8, 2019 to benefit RSVP, which is an organization that provides rewarding volunteer opportunities for adults in the local areas.
Book submissions must adhere to guidelines that include but are not limited to:
Storybooks with great illustrations and limited text
No books with religious content
No books that are holiday-themed
