The website was launched in December of 2014 by Cory Doggett and his wife after leaving their corporate America jobs for a more scenic lifestyle. "I have worked all my life to make a living, I became so engulfed in making money that I ended up working in fields that I just had no love for. To my peers and those close to me it was clear that I was miserable. During a business trip through the South West I became enamored with joy seeing the scenery. After that trip my wife and I gave up our jobs and purchased an RV to see the beauty of the world. We started Trek Southwest as an outlet to capture our moments but soon after realized we had something more. Trek Southwest has something for everyone who visits the areas we visit.
