The VX-VEB160G4 (V2) offers a near two fold improvement over the original VX-VEB160G4 Ethernet Extender (100 DS/100 US Mbps). This second generation unit provides even faster transmission rates that bypass the standard 100m Ethernet limitation.

This unit is not only the fastest Ethernet Extender available, but also offers reliable performance in industrial environments with temperatures ranging between -40°C to 75°C. These Long Reach Ethernet Extenders provide high throughput even in harsh environments allowing service providers to deploy the unit at any location.

Users can select between High Throughput Modes or Long Reach Modes with select-able 30a or 17a VDSL2 profiles respectively.

The Ethernet Extender supports transparent LAN bridging that extends Ethernet connections via UTP, Cat 5+ or Coaxial cables.

Our second generation Ethernet Extender features 4 Gigabit Ports (RJ-45 connector) and 1 VDSL2 port (RJ-45 connector) in a metal enclosure.
