Filmmaker Dawn Fields Offers Unique Opportunities via an Indiegogo Campaign for Her Upcoming Film "the Dancer & the Boy"

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/24/2014 -- Acclaimed writer/director Dawn Fields, who has had a great deal of success raising funds for her film projects via crowdfunding, is offering some very unique and exciting opportunities for folks who want to help support her latest film project and be a part of the filmmaking process. In addition to her most popular perks which are Executive Producer, Associate Producer and Special Thanks credit on the popular entertainment industry web site IMDB.com, Ms. Fields is also offering the opportunity for someone to ‘shadow’ her as director on set.

“Directing film is a daunting task. It’s very hard to get hands-on experience without spending a lot of money and finding the right crew”, she contends. “My goal in offering this on-set ‘mentorship’ is to give someone who is curious about directing the chance to have that experience with no cost or obligation. I love to teach and share my knowledge so this is an exciting opportunity.”

In addition to the above perks, Ms. Fields, who is also an experienced cook, is offering private online access to her cooking videos for those who contribute as well as a personal cooking lesson if you live in Los Angeles.

Dawn Fields is an acclaimed filmmaker with several films to her credit including "FOUND", "Better with Friends", "Bonds & Lace" and her most recent short film "Touch" which recently had its world premiere in Los Angeles at the Dances with Films Film Festival. She has over twenty years of production experience and has worked for such companies as LucasFilm, Tri-Star, Twentieth Century Fox, Aaron Spelling Productions, ABC and NBC Universal.

This campaign started on June 17 and will close on June 30, 2014 (11:59pm PT). The funding goal for the project has been fixed at $5,200.
