Local entrepreneur preparing to expand business operations of leading ecommerce fashion store in Islamabad to other cities upon acquisition of company.
Islamabad, Pakistan -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/30/2017 -- Fitin.pk, one of Islamabad's leading e-stores, has been sold, it has been reported. The company, which is well known as a supplier of clothing, accessories and bags in the city, was acquired for the sum of 5 million PK Rupees by Ali Ahmed. Mr. Ahmed, who is an entrepreneur from Karachi, has a vision to expand to other cities of Pakistan, while maintaining the reputation that Fitin has developed in ecommerce in a short span of time.
"I am very pleased that I was able to purchase the company," says Mr. Ahmed, "and the acquisition has gone smooth. I must congratulate Mr. Mubasher Khattak for his professionalism throughout the process and a great job done so far. Now, it's time to look to the future. The plan is to expand to cities all over Pakistan. Of course, we will have to adjust some policies in order to do that, but customers can rest assured that any adjustments will not affect the quality of our products and services negatively. If anything, we will place even more emphasis on quality output."
Mubasher Khattak, a 20-year-old entrepreneur from Islamabad, has served as CEO of the company for the past year. He launched Fitin.pk in February 2016 to provide online shopping in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The company tasted success in the beta launch. Shortly after, a digital marketing strategy introducing Arshad Khan Chai Wala as a model for the first time went viral, delivering valuable exposure. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength, even being featured on international news sites such as BBC, Khaleej Times and Huffington Post.
"Launching and running Fitin.pk has been exciting," remarks Mubasher. "However, I have decided to pursue a long time dream project and cannot dedicate the time and effort needed to take the business to the next level. Actually, there have been negotiations with several interested parties over the past few months, but Mr. Ahmed's passion and vision for Fitin really impressed me."
Mr. Khattak continues, "Although it saddens me to a great degree to have sold the company, I know that it is in very capable hands, and I wish Mr. Ahmed and his team the very best of luck for the future. I have no doubt that he will be hugely successful in his endeavors."
Fitin.pk is an online shopping platform that caters to residents in Islamabad. The store stocks men's and women's clothing, bags, accessories, and more, with a focus on bringing trendy products to customers' doorsteps affordably.
