Brooklyn, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/09/2015 -- "Let's Help People Find The Medical Care They Need" is a movement that focuses on connecting doctors and patients so that doctors can keep their practices open and patients can find the right physicians for their needs.  Zinovi Kurolap, the CEO of MyDoctorCare Inc., launched this campaign after learning, in May 2014, that he had Type 2 diabetes.  Frustrated with how difficult it was to find good doctors online, Kurolap began MyDoctorCare with the goal of making it fast and easy for patients to find the right doctor  no matter where they live.

This service is free to patients, and the website offers periodic prize drawings for those who use the website.  Additionally, the service helps doctors attract new patients to help them keep their practices open.  Because so many doctors are having trouble maintaining their own practices due to changes in healthcare, many patients could find that they are unable to access needed care.  One study states that half of physicians surveyed plan on closing their practices in the next four years.

The money raised from the IndieGoGo campaign will be used to cover operating expenses and continue development of the website, as well as to finalize the development of mobile apps for Google Play and the Apple Store.  The money will also be used to support a growing sales team, pay for celebrity sponsorship and launch a nationwide digital and local marketing campaign.
