Different approach to no spoiler book reviews – Momma Says Read reviews books by matching the books with target readers. The reviews are relatively brief and mimic a “coffee shop review”. This unique approach allows more of a conversational review, rather than a retelling of a story. Having access to all types of readers such as teenagers (Little Lil & Gecko Joe), young adult audience, house wives, working moms and dads (Pappa), Momma also has children’s books reviewed by “The Babes” two book loving toddlers who are very opinionated. Momma’s theory is that you can read a book’s synopsis if you want to know what the book is about. That’s why we talk more about how the story was told. Was the writing engaging? Did the book drag? Did you laugh, cry or get angry? Those types of questions get answered rather spoiling the end, or the surprise of the story. Momma and the reviewers don’t claim to be book critics, simply readers that want to share their experiences.

Get free books, including New York Times best sellers, free ebooks, and maybe even a free Kindle Fire by joining the book giveaway at Momma Says Read beginning April 6, 2013.
