Fuel and Controls Aerospace Manufacturer Selects Ultriva with Over 700 Suppliers

Cupertino, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/24/2014 -- A successful manufacturer of fuel pumps and controls for aerospace recently chose Ultriva as their solution to integrate CSP (Collaborative Supply Portal). There will be over 5500 items and 740 suppliers on the Ultriva program. They will gradually be phasing in suppliers using the system to accept and ship orders.

The pump and controls manufacturing company is using the PDF Print PO feature (Ultriva 7.6 feature). Greg Messler, Project manager at Ultriva, noted, “There’s quite a bit of data they are passing through our PO sync including notes. This is a great thing we can do for customers and a big deal for them, because it prevents their buyers from having to manually create and email PDF attachments.” This week Ultriva trained over 25 users from 10 different suppliers through onsite and remote webinar training.

Known as a pioneer in Kanban solutions, Ultriva CEO Narayan Laksham and the team of technology solutions professionals at the Cupertino-based firm are strongly advocating that aerospace component manufacturers integrate with the demand side to streamline the supply chain. This process is “End to End Pull” replenishment, also known as E2E Pull.

Ultriva is experiencing rapid growth in aerospace with the wide adoption of E2E Pull globally. Underlying the E2E Pull process is real-time collaboration with the customers and suppliers. On-premise solutions, like MRP and ERP, do a great job for inside the four walls of business. E2E Pull is best-suited outside the four walls of business which is why aerospace component manufacturers are adopting the consumption driven replenishment solution. New features in version 7.6 address some of the specific aerospace sector demands. Ultriva has deployed this type of solution across many large multi-national customers worldwide.
