These Future Fitness gyms, near Cherry Hill, NJ, have announced that they will be participating in the Paws for a Cause Charity Drive, in conjunction with the Friends of Camden Animal Shelter/Animal Adoption Center, in order to ensure that animals waiting for a "forever family" will continue to have a safe place to stay during the adoption process.
At both the Berlin and Turnersville locations, trees set up in the lobbies are hung with gift tags that can be chosen by members, and contain suggestions of what donations may be most helpful to the organization. Some of the gifts requested by the Friends of Camden Animal Shelter include dry and wet cat and dog foods, "Kong"-type dog toys, dog biscuits, soft dog treats, chewy sticks, Greenies, bones and cat litter. The shelter can also benefit from a variety of other supplies needed to run their operations, including office supplies, such as paper, pens and other equipment, and cleaning supplies, such as laundry soap, dish soap, bleach, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, paper towels and glass cleaner. Larger-ticket items, such as dog crates and carriers, blankets, towels and gift cards are also gratefully accepted.
