Naperville, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/16/2014 -- Reportstack, provider of premium market research reports announces the addition of Ghana Telecommunications Report Q3 2014 market report to its offering
Although growth in Ghana's mobile market picked up slightly in Q114, compared to the two
previous quarters, it remained underwhelming compared to double digit growth during 2012 and 2011.
However, a sharp rise in mobile data subscriptions in Q114 suggests that operators' considerable

approaching saturation in the mobile voice market, as well as continued regulatory pressure on quality of
service, BMI expects the country's telecoms operators to continue gearing investments towards bolstering
network capacity. Although BMI expects mobile data to continue recording strong growth throughout 2014,
further currency depreciation and a weakening economy is likely to weigh on private consumption levels,
posing a downside risk to our positive outlook for Ghana's telecoms market.
? The Ghanaian mobile market grew by 2.3% q-o-q in Q114, compared to q-o-q growth of 1.7% in the
previous quarter and 3.3% in Q113.
? The mobile data market grew by 25.8% q-o-q in Q114, a drastic increased compared to 1.3% q-o-q
growth in Q413, driven by expanding network coverage, falling tariffs and availability of low-cost
