Overland Park, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/29/2016 -- Goody Tickets President Heather Goodman recently organized a diaper drive for non-profit Happy Bottoms to raise diapers for low-income families in Kansas City. The Happy Bottoms Diaper Bank diaper drive fundraiser concluded in February and more than 1700. diapers were raised by Goodman.

Happy Bottoms is able to act as Kansas City's Diaper Bank through donations of diapers, fundraisers like Goodman's, and by purchasing discounted diapers from nonprofit channels. The Kansas City Diaper Bank supports an area where an estimated 21,000 children do not receive the diapers they need, and one child in five lives in poverty.

Donations from diaper drives like the one Goody Tickets President Heather Goodman held in February make it possible for Happy Bottoms to provide diapers to partner agencies and raise awareness of diaper need. Residents in the Kansas City metropolitan area are able to access diapers as well as emergency diapers from the Happy Bottoms social service agency partners.

Funds, diapers, and volunteer time can be donated to Happy Bottoms. Thanks to the combined donations to the non-profit Kansas City diaper bank 4,147,049 diapers have been distributed by Happy Bottoms in the metropolitan area.
