KC SuperStar is an annual singing competition in its 7th year of showcasing the talented youth from high-schools in the Kansas City metro and surrounding area. With sponsorship from Goody Tickets, the event is able to raise funds for the Jewish Community Center and present scholarship prizes for the first, second, third and fourth place winners.

Auditions for the 2016 KC SuperStar competition were held in March and April of 2016, semifinalists for the event have been selected. The upcoming semifinals will take place June 6. From two days of auditions for the 2016 competition, 24 semifinalists were selected and 10 or more contestants will be chosen to move on to compete in the finals of 2016's KC SuperStar.

Goody Tickets sponsorship of the KC SuperStar event directly contributes to the fundraising for the Jewish Community Center of the greater Kansas City area. The center welcomes people from all religions and offers over 60 free group exercise classes for it's members every week which are made available thanks to the KC SuperStar fundraising.
