Overland Park, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/15/2016 -- Goody Tickets recently made a contribution to the Defenders' Ball fundraiser for St. Michael the Archangel Catholic parish. GoodyTickets donated four tickets to a Peter and the Starcatcher musical performance at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The support provided by the GoodyTickets donation allows the annual Defenders' Ball to be a successful fundraiser for St. Michael the Archangel Catholic parish.

"We donated tickets to the Defenders' Ball event so that the parish can keep helping the community and provide all of the wonderful services that they provide to the area," says GoodyTickets co-owner Heather Goodman. "They have a great school, education center, and rectory and that need support."

The 2016 Defenders Ball was recently held on February 6, 2016 and was the main fundraiser of the year for the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic parish. Parishioners and friends of the parish were brought together to celebrate and raise funds at the Ritz Charles. An open bar, live auction and silent auction took place while dinner and dessert were served to attendees of the event. The Kansas City rock band the Elders performed as live entertainment for the night.

A quarter of net proceeds from the most recent Defenders' Ball event went to Our Lady of Unity parish in Kansas City, KS as part of the Companions in Faith partnership program.
