Launched in 2013, Heavenote provides an automated service that helps people schedule their final messages for their loved ones, made up of text, images, video and files that include final messages and plans for their social media and financial accounts. These messages are only sent to their recipients after the customer passes away, determined when they stop clicking on a confirmation link in an email.
The "Forever Free" plan includes unlimited messages using text, 20 MB of space for images and files, and a 30-second video. All current users of the site will be considered free users under the new plan.
The Premium Plan includes unlimited text messages, 2 GB of space for images and files, and a 10-minute video per message. This plan is available for $29 a year. Customers using this plan can also choose a designated person to send a copy of the death certificate to Heavenote to confirm their death.
The site is also launching an ambassador program. Refer one friend to Heavenote and receive up to five free ambassador messages, 200 MB space for images and files and a five-minute video in every message, including all the benefits from the free plan.
Heavenote's client base includes seniors, members of the armed forces, emergency responders and the terminally ill. Many adults between the ages of 25 and 40 have begun using the service as well, citing the ease of use and what they are able to send: lasting memories for their loved ones.
