Competitive Landscape

PGT Healthcare led sales of herbal/traditional products at the end of the review period with a value share of 38%. This company benefits from representing Proctor & Gamble's Vicks brand, which dominated herbal/traditional cough, cold and allergy (hay fever) remedies with 53% value share in 2013. This company was a new entrant in 2012, being founded as a joint venture between Proctor & Gamble and Israeli company Teva.
