Indie artist, Haiqeem has transformed his sound and is set to take over the music world with new single, “Don’t Give a Damn.”
Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/29/2015 -- New single "Don't Give A Damn" available now from Haiqeem has got fans excited. Music experts have predicted the new single will become a worldwide hit and Haiqeem biggest commercial success.
Unconventional Singer/Songwriter Haiqeem was born in Oklahoma City, OK in the early nineties. After moving to Dallas, shortly before becoming a teenage, he entered a singing competition, where his vocal talents were discovered. So began his lifelong passion for music, writing, and performing.
His first effort was Nothing Sweeter, in 2010, followed by Socialite in 2011; both were minor web successes. In 2013, Haiqeem made one final attempt at noise music, with Finally Over You, a commercial blunder.
Undeterred, Haiqeem took advantage of the merger of Huku records. He met Juno award nominated Producer, M. Yates, who was able to use Haiqeem's songwriting ability to produce the 3 track EP, Without My Permission. Moving away from noise music, into Hard-Rock and Post-Grunge, this album is sure to be a commercial success.
With the anthemic, angry, Alt-Rock single, "Don't Give A Damn," available now, Haiqeem's fans can get a taste of his new style and sound. Jamsphere Magazine has said that this is, "an unprecedented artistic metamorphosis."
Unlike prior releases, "Don't Give A Damn" features a strong melody and chorus that easily fit in hard rock. The well-written lyrics, give listeners a clear understanding of the inner conflict of the writer, and gives a generation of disenfranchised youth a voice, unlike any they've ever had.
