Hytrol Welcomes Roy Fanning Joins as Director of Manufacturing Operations

Jonesboro, AR -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/10/2016 -- Hytrol is pleased to announce the addition of Roy Fanning as director of manufacturing operations. Fanning was born in Dayton, Ohio at Wright Patterson AFB, but calls Rogers, AR home. In his role, he is responsible for the overall direction and success of the manufacturing area. Fanning will provide direction and support for the team as they drive continuous improvement activities for the safety of our employees, the quality of products and the value Hytrol adds for our integration partners and customers.

"[I enjoy] Finding ways to help others be more successful," Fanning said. "I am amazed by the talent of the people we have working at Hytrol and I love helping people resolve issues that get in their way."

Fanning was involved in the industry before and after he graduated college. Before college, he worked for three years in a cast aluminum manufacturing plant and at a Tyson distribution center. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas, he began working at Trane, a manufacturer of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems and services. Over the course of 18 years, he held various leadership roles in four different manufacturing plants in Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana and Georgia.

Chris Glenn, vice president of manufacturing and engineering operations, said this is a new position to help Hytrol's strategic endeavors. "Roy brings over 20 years of manufacturing experience to Hytrol," Glenn said. "He has experience with mixed model production and has a strong background in engineering as well.
