From New York to Paris, the IFDAQ reveals the Top20 cities that have a profound influence on the world of fashion and luxury.

In an earlier study (Q2/2018) that addressed the ranking's development and the dynamics of fashion capitals, Iva Mirbach, Head of Research at IFDAQ, stated: "We have seen how the power structure of fashion has evolved and a new line up of rival cities have emerged in recent times. Fashion capitals change periodically and none of the 'Big Four' are sacrosanct as such, with each of them having to re-assert their authority from time to time.
