ImageFIRST Denver Helps Healthcare Facilities Improve Patients' Experience

Denver, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/21/2015 -- The Beryl Institute, an organization dedicated to improving the patient experience in healthcare facilities worldwide, recently released its 2015 State of Patient Experience report. The report gathers feedback from 1,561 respondents in 21 countries across the healthcare spectrum. With the report, the Beryl Institute identifies key trends in patient experiences. ImageFIRST Denver, the leading medical linen and garment laundry facility in Colorado, recently shared the report with its clients to highlight the importance of patient feedback and satisfaction in the operation of medical facilities.

Over the past several years, the consumer voice has enjoyed greater importance in healthcare. According to the Beryl Institute report, from 2011 to 2015 the investment in patient experience staff grew from 13% to 42%, the most dramatic illustration of an overall trend of growth. The survey also found that healthcare saw a greater engagement of patient and family input, with the use of patient and family advisory committees, bedside surveys and feedback, and patient and family focus groups.

Patient satisfaction is at the heart of ImageFIRST Denver's promise to their clients; their Comfort Care products are guaranteed to improve patient perception of a facility by 50% or the facility will receive one month of free service. The Comfort Care patient gowns and robes are made from a plush, luxurious microfiber material unlike any other medical gown material that patients have experienced. These robes and gowns are designed for key elements of patient comfort like ample fit, modesty, warmth and soft texture.

ImageFIRST's Comfort Care line recently transformed a medical facility in Georgia. At the Eastside Medical Center, an inpatient/outpatient facility with 310 beds and 450 physicians on staff, only 20% of patients had a favorable impression of the facility. After switching to ImageFIRST's Comfort Care line, patient perception skyrocketed to 100%--a 500% increase. These kinds of drastic improvements in patient experience have happened for ImageFIRST clients nationwide.
