ImageFIRST Donates to Community Charities in the Philadelphia Area and Across the Country

King of Prussia, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/28/2016 -- For national medical linen service ImageFIRST, charitable giving is at the heart of their purpose. This past July and August, the company raised donations to enrich their local communities, not only inside medical facilities but outside of them as well.

In July, ImageFIRST's corporate office participated in a charitable "Penny War" competition. The entire office was split into groups of four, and each team was able to earn points by donating pennies, and detract points from other teams by adding larger coins or dollars into their penny jars. The winning team chose Main Line Animal Rescue as the recipient of the $500 raised during the month of July. On August 12th, ImageFIRST donated the check (along with linens) to the no-kill shelter to assist them in their mission of finding new, loving homes for rescued pets.

Also in the month of July, ImageFIRST locations across the country, including the corporate office in King of Prussia, held a backpack drive. All of the supplies raised were packed into donated backpacks and delivered to charities of each location's choosing. On August 18th, the corporate location donated over 100 backpacks to the Philadelphia Boys and Girls Club. The associates that participated were especially proud to help children prepare for their upcoming school year.
