The event, to be held on November 13, 2015, will take place at Spooky Nook Sports on 2913 Spooky Nook Road, Manheim, in Lancaster County. Veterans of all ages, along with the family and friends that comprise the local military community, are welcome to attend the event, which will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Vets will have the opportunity to learn more about the benefits to which they are entitled as former service men and women, as well as receive training on resume writing, interviewing techniques, career planning, entrepreneurship and searching for jobs online. Potential employers will be present at the fair to meet face-to-face with candidates, in order to discuss available positions. As a participant in the event, ImageFIRST Lancaster will be set up with a booth to discuss the employment opportunities provided nationwide by the country's largest healthcare laundry services provider.
By visiting the Veteran's Expo website, participants can also benefit from free, professional services aimed at helping them to succeed in the civilian world. Veterans are eligible for free resume reviews, with the goal of clearly converting their military experience to civilian employment for the benefit of employers.
