IMET Corporation Production Manager Back from Active Military Duty

Southampton, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/24/2014 -- IMET, a company that offers a wide range of product development services, is pleased to announce that their production manager is back from active military duty. IMET’s production manager since 2009, Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt) Scott Roxberry, spent the better part of 2013 on deployment in Africa. Coming back from active duty, Roxberry will be trading in his camouflaged uniform in for jeans and a static-free lab coat.

“Talk about being sorely missed, it just wasn’t the same around here without Scott,” reflects CEO Tom Krol. “As proud as we were to see one of us serving our country on the highest level, we were extremely busy while Scott was away. However, we had the good fortune of a great staff to keep our PCB assembly systems and product development humming during his absence. I assure you, it wasn’t easy.”

At 38 years of age, GySgt Roxberry was met with a frenetic welcome home from his wife and daughter. He returned to work on February 17th, met by co-workers with hugs, high-fives and “glad-to-see-you-agains,” from everyone at IMET’s Southampton, PA headquarters.

GySgt Roxberry addressed his homecoming to his co-workers: “It’s great being back home and having this job I love waiting for me,” he stated. “The Marine’s turf is overseeing IMET Corporation’s three automated PCB assembly lines, along with myriad other machines and equipment dedicated to product development and electronics engineering. It’s great being in a job that appreciates my service to our country and supports me in my career,” he added.
