Independent Einstein STEVE CALI Delivers on "All I Do" Feat. Killa Kyleon & Ois4 OMARI

Conroe, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/21/2014 -- If anyone is looking for the next hip-hop star then the 23-year-old Houston native Steve Cali is just who they are looking for. Steve Cali is a hip-hop rarity as he is not only a rapper but also a producer and a sound engineer. You may actually already recognize his name, as he is most well known for his hit single "Pimp”. This hit won him plenty of local recognition through Kiotti from 97.9 the box's first Def. Jam Showcase that was held in the city. Steve Cali’s more recent single called “All I Do” features another Houston hard hitter, Killa Kyleon. Both of these hits under his belt, and collaborations with Killa Kyleon have made for a grand introduction for this young impresario known as STEVE CALI.

As a producer Steve Cali brings a breath of fresh air and a new outlook to music. He has been producing since the age of 10 and has the years of experience that have allowed for him to truly master his sound. From the get go Steve Cali started producing and engineering for local talent in an effort to renovate and reinvent the sound of his city. Steve Cali stated that:

“You used to have to go to a city [Houston], live there to know what it’s about, or how the streets will treat you. Now with as much as people bite the South, Texas especially we note a major difference. This is why I'm enforcing a "NEW3RDCOAST". “Bringing out the roots that the biters aren't familiar with, with classic country rap samples in the midst of snaps, 808s and the hi-hats are refreshing to people who live here and long for more of their own works. It’s an energy.” he said. “It’s almost to the same effect as FUBU clothing when it first came out.’”

Steve Cali does not necessarily have an issue with the state of the industry but rather his musical background and passion for the South makes sense why he is set in his beliefs. Cali comes from a family of singers and musicians, which has no doubt influenced his career. His father, Steve Calvert Sr., was a singer and musician of country music. Steve’s father was sure to instill in his son a love and appreciation of all music genres and the impact of that are clear in Steve Cali’s sound. This influence of different genres sets Cali apart from other hip-hop artist and puts him in a unique pack in the game. In his latest single featuring Killa Kyleon this unique blend of genres clearly places him apart from others. The unleashing of this dope new track called “All I Do” is nothing but musical enjoyment for our ears. The track finds the southern lyricist linking up with Team Run It and Indy partner Ois4 OMARI, trading bars over top of something incredibly infectious and highly contagious deriving from a UGK sample the late Pimp C produced himself.

This latest track is propelled by an addictive, melody that gets backed up by some street shaking drum work that makes for one hell of a home for the Houstonians to do work. Don’t sleep on this one, Steve Cali’s rap sheet is getting thick, check out the brand new track after the jump and don't hesitate to let us know how people feel about it.
