Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/14/2019 -- The Central Ohio IT Leaders program is a year-long leadership development program offered jointly by the Innovative Leadership Institute and Expedient. It is a professionally rigorous program that meets monthly, where IT professionals learn about leadership topics, build leadership skills, and build their professional network. Participants attend twelve sessions including six academic classes, four roundtables hosted by experienced technology leaders and attend two networking sessions. During the program, participants also engage with online leadership content, including an International Award-winning textbook, a range of audio interviews with thought leaders, academics and executives, and video content. To receive certification, participants are required to attend the sessions and complete all program deliverables. Participants who meet all requirements receive a joint certification from the Innovative Leadership Institute and Muskingum University's Master of Information Strategy Systems and Technology (MISST) program.

In addition to receiving a certification, all past IT Leaders participants who met the certification requirements will receive a 10% tuition discount and earn a 3-credit waiver upon completion of their leadership program when they apply and are admitted into Muskingum University's MISST program.

MISST is a 36-credit hour, 100% online program designed for the 21st-century professional aspiring to become a transformational leader working at the intersection of business and technology.
