Is EssexTV Up for Sale?! 675,000 Valuation Sparks Takeover Rumours

 

Tampa, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/03/2017 -- A British digital channel that has grown to prominence due to featuring an array of reality and entertainment shows plus their celebrity interviews has sparked rumours that the current owners might be selling up following a validation by city venture capitalists.

Essex TV which only began to broadcast in April 2016 was predominantly seen as a local channel servicing the county of Essex in the UK, now boasting of over 150,000 viewers across the globe they have grown to prominence from their celebrity columnists who have included Kerry Katona's husband George Kay, Xfactor's Chloe-Jasmin Wichello and Soccer AM's Rocket to name but a few.

The company's recent valuation of £675,000 ($800,000) conducted by city financiers is thought to include their incoming IOS & Android App due in February 2017 which is said to be a game changer for the IPTV. Upon launching the channel the owner's BE Group had pledged £1.2m to take the channel onto Sky but when the digital growth began talks were done to try and keep the service digital and tap into the 'Netflix' target market.
