Ivette Cortiella Seeks Funding Support via Indiegogo to Reopen Meltdown Station Fitness Center in South Florida

Ivette Cortiella is a trained expert currently working on reducing childhood obesity through her fitness video line and fitness facility. She is looking to raise $60,000 via Indiegogo to reopen Meltdown Station Fitness Center for children and teens in South Florida.

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/10/2016 -- Childhood obesity is one of the most serious health related concerns at present. It is frightening to know that over 50 million children in the United States are overweight, and most of these children are extremely likely to become overweight adults. Experts suggest that this undesirable trend can be attributed to the present generation's unhealthy food habit and inactive lifestyle.

Trained in clinical and public health, Ivette Cortiella possesses diverse skills to improve health outcomes from an individual and population-based approach. She is currently focused on introducing her fitness video line and fitness facility that will fight the menace of childhood obesity.

"Our Mission is to provide a safe and educational environment within our centers, where children can strengthen themselves physically, mentally & emotionally while learning self-confidence & personal motivation. Our goal is to teach and install in all children healthy lifestyle skills to be carried on into adulthood," Ivette states.

Meltdown Station Fitness Center will offer safe, fun and effective exercise programs for children between the ages of five and seventeen. By providing a safe and educational environment, the center will help children strengthen themselves physically, mentally & emotionally. Meltdown Station will only use Just for KidsĀ© equipment which has been designed to work the child's cardiovascular and muscular systems for the purpose of associating fun with exercise. Meltdown Station will offer both monthly and daily classes for their members. They will also offer a wide range of programs including kid cadets, teen cadet, parents night out, camps, child and me, no-school days, and many more.
