JapanRailPassNow.com was officially launched in Sydney last night at a private function in Manly which attracted over 100 people in attendance.

With more than 1.3 million American visitors to Japan each year, Managing Director Adam McKnight and team have launched the new website www.japanrailpassnow.com in a bid to help improve the Japan Experience for travelers from the United States.

"We first launched our website in Australia in 2010 because we wanted to help enrich the travel experience of people going to Japan and using the JR Pass. Entering into the US has always been a dream of ours and we are thrilled to be expanding on a global scale," said Mr McKnight.

"There are more than twice as many American tourists entering Japan each year compared with Australians (1.3 million compared to 495,054). With the 2019 Rugby World Cup & Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Japan is set to continue its increase in tourism visitors to Japan. In 2017 there were 28.5 million visitors to Japan, compared with 24 million in 2016 - an increase of 17% YOY.
