Enter, Yummy Hugs; a mobile venue, offering creative, healthy, signature dishes for the active and conscientious, lifestyle enthusiast through a community of culinary artists. In order to manifest this amazing project, she is utilizing crowd funding to raise $50,000 to start the Yummy Hugs Food Truck.

At Yummy Hugs, the community of artists rotate daily offering unlimited variety to the customers. In addition, on a daily basis, the mobile venue also offers Ms. Merrill's exquisite, individual cheesecake desserts, the signature of Yummy Hugs. At the beginning of every week, the menus and the artists for the upcoming week are posted on the Yummy Hugs website and social media platforms are updated daily with menu items and locations.
Yummy Hugs is also committed to supporting the hungry-homeless of Los Angeles through meals from the truck. Highlighting her plan, Jayne states, "At Yummy Hugs, I believe that it isn't enough to serve those that are financially able, but to fill as many hungry tummies as we can on a daily basis. On the website you will find a daily tally of meals served to those less financially able with the ultimate goal of one meal sold/one meal given. At the end of each service day, any remaining meal portions will be served, free of charge, to those individuals who call the streets their home and have limited access to nutritional meals."
Jayne Merrill has launched a Kickstarter campaign with the funding goal of $50,000. The monies pledged from Kickstarter will be used to:
- Purchase a food truck/trailer
- Rent space at a commissary
- Offset additional start-up costs.
All backers of this Kickstarter campaign will become members of the Yummy Hugs community, and their names will be added to the truck. This project will only be funded if at least $50,000 is pledged by December 30, 2015.
