Austin, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/01/2014 -- Music has always been a part of Jed Craddock’s life. However, for as long as he can remember, people have been telling him that music isn’t a realistic goal. He has heard that he is talented, but probably not good enough to make it.
Jed knows what he wants, and nothing makes him feel like music does. So, he set out to make 2014 his year. For him, the first piece that’s important is to record an EP so that he can represent his music with good recordings. A good quality EP will help him market himself, and give his fans something tangible they can share with others. Jed’s hope is that people who listen to this EP will be taken on a journey through the songs.
Jed wants his EP to be a stepping-stone to a full album one day a full time career in music performance. He wants people to be able to hear a representation of work he can truly be proud of. It may also provide him openings for bigger acts in venues like The Parish or Mohawks’ in Austin within the year as well as getting the opportunity to play at SXSW next time around.
With adequate funding through this project, Jed will be able to:
Record a 5-6 track EP in a professional studio.
Offset production and distribution costs, including the making of CDs and ReverbNation rights.
Have professional merchandise custom designed and manufactured such as t-shirts and posters.
Work with a professional PR consultant to get the EP to promoters, clubs, bloggers, and area festivals.
This project will only be funded if at least $2,500 is pledged by Sat, Apr 19 2014 11:53 PM +05:30.
