Jim OBrien Starts Kickstarter Campaign to Raise Funds for the Making of His New App 'Man Medals' (As Seen on Shark Tank)

Waterford, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/02/2014 -- The idea behind ‘Man Medals’ started as a joke between Jim and his wife Kathi. This is when Jim started his journey to build an app that gives people the ability to make personalized medals by downloading a photo of something "Man Medal Worthy" and personalizing it, and then sharing it via social media.

Since then, Jim has spoken with multiple developers and met a man named Shasank Jean who completely understands what Jim is trying to do. They’ve entered into an agreement to develop the app.

Shasank Jean is a mobile and web expert with experience in strategy formulation and 6.5 years in IT industry. He works extensively on requirement analysis, translation of requirements into system architectures and mobile user experience. Jim also specializes in POC development & Writing Proposal.

With a creative approach, Shasank has interest in user experience design, customer journeys, information architecture, Interaction Design and wireframing and preparation of creative documents related to projects.

Kickstarter will take this idea and make it a reality. Once they get the funding, Jim and Shasank will start the development directly - the goal is to have it by fall 2014. They have the wireframe and graphics done. The next phase is development:

- iOS and Android apps in a 90 day period.
- closed testing and bugs next 30 days.
- launch goal by August/September.

This project will only be funded if at least $3,000 is pledged by Mon, Apr 21 2014 8:57 PM +05:30.
