Joe Hudson's Collision Center's "What $5 Can Do" Campaign

Birmingham, AL -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/02/2015 -- Joe Hudson's Collision Center cares for the community and has created a unique partnership with the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders (ACCBD) at Children's of Alabama (http://childrensofal.org). During the month of October, Joe Hudson's Collision Center locations across Alabama (currently 20) will donate $5 to Children's of Alabama for every vehicle repaired. The funds raised from this campaign will help Alabama's children who are currently being served by this prestigious facility. In Alabama, 90% of children diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders are treated at Children's of Alabama.

All of our Alabama shops are participating and include these cities: Huntsville, Decatur, Northport, Birmingham, Pelham, Prattville, Montgomery, Wetumpka, Auburn, Greenville, Enterprise, Dothan and Daphne. We have entitled our campaign, "What $5 Dollars Can Do" and have filmed a wonderful video by the same name. It can be seen on the website we created: http://whatcan5dollarsdo.com. This website also includes a donation section for anyone that would like to contribute to this cause.

"I cannot think of a more special cause than helping these children and their families on this difficult journey. If we can create a smile, give hope and yes… ultimately find a cure for childhood cancers ….then we are truly honored to partner with Children's of Alabama," said Traweek Dickson, CEO of Joe Hudson's Collision Center.
