Literally translated from Latin, Negotio Infecto means Unfinished Business. DEELER’s Reunion Album Will Fix That.
St. Louis, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/06/2014 -- DEELER was one of St. Louis' premier progressive metal bands and a rousing rock & roll reunion of this on-the-edge band is on the verge of happening. They’ve come a long way and spent a lot of time in their studio to take care of unfinished business, which is what led Joe Weir to turn to crowdfunding to wrap up NEGOTIO INFECTO and bring it to their fans and fans of metal.
NEGOTIO INFECTO means “Unfinished Business” in Latin, which refers to the set of songs that are going on the album. For whatever reason these songs were passed over when it came time to choose what was going to be recorded by DEELER over the years. Now 20 years later vocalist/bassist Joe Weir traveled back in time and recorded them in his private music studio where he spends his time drawing, writing & working on his dream projects. NEGOTIO INFECTO is one of those dreams that Joe wants to make come true. He’d been trying for years to finish the album himself but the technology didn’t exist to make that possible… until now.
Now that the technology is there he has been able to record the music, but he needs financial backing to make the recordings into a finished album.
Crowdfunding is sought to get the finished recordings in the hands of professionals so they can work their magic and make a finished album happen. All funds raised will be devoted to mixing, mastering and distribution as well as promotion of the new album to reach out to DEELER fans and anyone who enjoys good, storytelling heavy metal.
Samples of the songs can be heard on the Kickstarter page where rock fans can also learn more about Joe Weir, DEELER and the behind-the-scenes story behind each and every song on NEGOTIO INFECTO.
This crowdfunding campaign ends on November 10, 2014.
