Johnson's Landscaping Announces Maintenance Division for Complete Care of Yards

JLSinc.net outlines complete care of maintenance division including seasonal clean up chores to enhance property values

Chevy Chase, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/14/2014 -- In the real estate realm, experts now state quality landscaping can actually add tens of thousands of dollars to the value of a person's property in today's market. In fact, real estate professionals conclude it is one of the improvements homeowners can make immediately to add value to the home, but that will also increase in value as the years go by; as interior design and decorating eventually go out of style and mechanical upgrades will eventually wear down. Plants, on the other hand, grow fuller and more robust through the years.

Matt Johnson, spokesperson of Johnson Landscaping couldn't agree more. "The value of a home can be enhanced substantially with a fully manicured look. Not only can you impress your friends and neighbors when they visit your home, but it represents a financial asset and increases property value as much as 15%. The problem is, so many homeowners are doing more damage than good to their plants, trees and shrubs."

With that in mind, Johnson Landscaping has introduced a maintenance division of their company (http://www.jlsinc.net/services/maintenance-division). Johnson confirms, saying, "To meet the needs of our most particular clients, our program includes complete care for their yards. Our maintenance staff will care for the property from Spring through the Fall. In the Spring, we will begin with a complete clean up of the yard."

In addition to the maintenance plan, the company is already long established in the landscaping field (http://www.jlsinc.net/services/landscape-division). Says Johnson, "We are trained and experienced in planting and maintenance, and our team of landscape professionals work with each of our clients and their designer to create beautiful outdoor spaces."

This can be very important whether a family plans to sell a home now or down the road, as a recent review of research by a noted horticulturist at Virginia Tech discovered a quality landscaped home experienced a notable price advantage over houses with no landscaping at all, from 5.5% to 12.7%. On a $300,000 home, the value could translate upwards to $38,000.

Johnson notes, "It's clear there so much more to landscaping than putting a few potted plants near the mail box and sticking a few shrubs in the ground. The first thing buyers are looking for in landscaping is a sophisticated and concise design. Right behind that is the plant size and maturity of the trees and bushes. Not quite as important, but still worth considering is a diversity of the plant life in the plant design. Our designers take all of this into consideration when planning for your needs."
