Jr. Salvacion’s sister Charlene Ocampo is presently waiting for a heart donor. A Fundly campaign has been launched recently to raise $50,000 for Charlene’s medical expenses.
Cypress, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/08/2015 -- Charlene Ocampo was diagnosed with cancer when she was in middle school. After that, she has undergone chemotherapy and suffered from congestive heart failure. In spite of her precarious medical condition, Charlene gave birth to her son with a lot of risks. At present, she is waiting for a heart donor.
Charlene's husband Michael is a retired Technical Sergeant, Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, with the U.S. Air Force. Charlene earned her B.S. in Information Systems - Database Development from Strayer University. However, unfortunately, because of her medical condition, Charlene will have to quit her job as she waits for a viable heart donor.
Charlene's sister Jr. Salvacion has just started a fundraiser via Fundly to raise $50,000 that will be spent on Charlene's medical expenses. Charlene has recently started her new blog to document her journey towards receiving a new heart. In her blog, she states, "So no, this blog isn't about romance and sexy evening wear. It is my documented journey to getting a new heart for my current broken one, while typing in an over-sized, backless hospital gown."
