Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/10/2014 -- Contrary to what some of the leading gossip media have proclaimed, Julie Hayek is not writing a book on dating billionaires. We contacted Hayek directly and she clarified for us, “It must have been a very slow news day, because I have always intended to write a book that helps Inspire and Empower women to be healthy, fit, strong and independent.
My book is going to focus on how I applied the lessons I have learned that have helped me to achieve success in studying biology, chemistry, physics, calculus and graduating from UCLA with a bachelors of science degree in Biology, becoming a cheerleader at UCLA, and becoming Miss USA.
It is strange that no one from any of these publications ever called me to verify their facts. Plus, it doesn’t make any sense… Someone in my position doesn’t need to write a “Tell All”. I have never written anything bad about anyone, and I don’t plan to start now. Trust, integrity, and character are paramount to me.”
When currently interviewed by the Las Vegas Sun, Hayek mentions, “I always wanted to maintain my competitive edge, so I made it my business to know everything about fitness and health. I’ve tried every diet and exercise regime since modeling in high school. Everywhere I go, I’m asked how I stay in such great shape, so I decided to put my secrets into a book.”
According to a recent Shape Magazine interview, “Hayek wants to help empower women by help building their confidence. Her Key to confidence; “Visualization and Meditation.”
