Kate Delossantos Starts Kickstarter Campaign to Introduce Light-Up Video Game Hearts T-Shirt

This project is about the introduction of light-up videogame pixel heart t-shirts with sound activated panels that can be removed. The funding budget for this project is $900.

College Park, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/24/2016 -- Kate Delossantos, a college student attending the University of Maryland in College Park, is also known as Pandy. During the last summer, she started a Kickstarter campaign with the intention of launching anime-inspired thigh high socks. The fundraiser was highly successful, and she managed to introduce a series of sock designs. Inspired by this success, Kate started up her own clothing store on Storenvy. Since then, she has been trying to diversify her product line by offering cool, unique products and designs that are not available anywhere else.

Kate has just come up with a collection of t-shirts with light-up LED panels featuring video game-inspired pixel hearts. These t-shirts are available with the options of removable Velcro panels or non-removable Sewn-on panels. In terms of functionality, the panels can be either sound-activated or automated. The sound activated panels light up only in reaction to sound and is suitable for the parties or concerts. On the other hand, the automated panels constantly flash on and off whenever the shirts are turned on. Most importantly, these panels are quite thin, flexible, and generate no heat whatsoever.

"I think that light-up T-shirts are really cool and have an almost-magical quality the first time you wear one. I wanted other people to be able to experience what it's like to wear one, which is why I designed this shirt with this fun design. I hope you also think this is a cool shirt, and want to buy one," Pandy says.

In order to make the t-shirts available for the lowest cost, Kate needs to purchase a large order from her manufacturer. She has once again turned to Kickstarter to arrange the initial capital required for this venture. Pandy is covering the manufacturing's shipping fees and the Kickstarter fees with her own money.
