Furthermore, Traditional Halloween costumes were based on fear-provoking supernatural creatures and beings from folkloric tales; while in this modern time, costumes are based on characters that are seen in movies, television and other forms of mass media.

The heritage and essence of celebrating Halloween and all its exciting aspects and activities still live on. Although it has been brought to a different dimension because of the modernization of the world, Halloween still is one of the most celebrated events all over the world, not just because of tradition, but because people understand the true essence of celebrating this grandiose occasion.
