Keeping Clean Is the Ultimate Way to Optimise the Workplace: Top Cleaners Comments

London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/18/2015 -- Recent research carried out by Initial Hygiene has revealed some interesting attitudes to workplace hygiene and cleanliness. In a survey, it was found that 43% of women believed that their male colleagues were unhygienic and did not wash their hands. There was evident difference in gender attitudes however – as 89% of men were shown to believe that their female colleagues washed their hands. The survey appears part of rising interest in optimising working conditions, especially in terms of health and cleanliness.

In actuality, the number of men washing their hands at work was 96%: an indication that more people uphold good hygiene practices than may be initially expected. What ultimately matters is the promotion of healthy workplace habits for both genders, especially in the winter.

The released figures are expected to be part of an increased focus on workplace hygiene, especially as the winter month's advance. Enclosed and office environments can quickly become cluttered and unclean, which means that winter ailments can quickly spared. Promoting good workplace hygiene can help reduce the level of staff illnesses and ensure a more pleasant and productive place to work.
