Ken McDowell Looks to Raise $50,000 via Kickstarter to Build the Water Fence System

This project is about a new fresh water storage system that utilizes roof rain runoff into an interconnected fence system that stores thousands of gallons.

Rohnert Park, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/20/2014 -- The patented Water Fence System works very simply, as the water runs off the roof and drains into the fence, it continues to fill any number of fence sections people may have. This fence takes the place of one’s existing wood fence and will last almost forever. It is 100% recyclable, made of (HDPE) Polyethylene. Water naturally seeks its own level and fills each section evenly, and each section holds 320 gallons and when connected together, the fence can hold thousands of gallons. To distribute the water, one would use a hose that would simply connect to their fence. It has been professionally engineered to withstand the weight of water and also will withstand most seismic events.

Home builders or developers can simply send a rendering of a desired fence look of their development and it can be reproduced exactly to what they want. No more trees ever again have to be cut down for the building of fences. Right now the project has been professionally engineered on Solidworks, passed all its FEA testing and the creators have approached a Rotomold company to build a mold to produce the product. Right now, they are looking for funding to get the molds built. They need molds built to complete the project and to start saving people from climate change and adding water sustainability to their lives.

The project team needs to have enough molds built to satisfy the response they’ve had so far. They hope to have enough rotomold capacity to satisfy home developers and builders to install in their LEED water sustainable housing developments in a timely manner. This is a possible worldwide project as they have been contacted by Burmuda, Taiwan, and the UK, not to mention all the states that are suffering from climate change drought.

This project will only be funded if at least $50,000 is pledged by Wed, Jul 16 2014 12:57 AM +05:30.
